I care about accessibility. As such, I periodically volunteer my services at community centers and also offer sliding scale fees.
My standard rate is $199 per 50 minute session. You qualify for this rate if you have financial stability and some discretionary income. For example,
You can cover your basic needs (food, shelter)
You can go to a restaurant or travel when you need to
You could manage an unexpected $250 medical bill without destabilizing your finances
I reserve a small number of reduced-rate and community-rate spots to increase access. These are offered on the honor system and depend on availability. Let me know what your situation is and if I can accommodate, I will.
My reduced rate is $115 per 50 minute session. You qualify if you have some discretionary income, but your financial situation is precarious.
You can usually cover your basic needs (food and shelter), but one or more of the following, or something similar, may be true:
You provide financial support to relatives living in poverty or crisis
You are struggling to pay off medical debt due to past or current illness
You are a primary caregiver to an ailing or disabled parent
My access rate is $65 per 50 minute session. This rate is for those experiencing significant and ongoing financial hardship. For example,
You cannot cover your basic needs (food and shelter)
You have substantial medical debt that you cannot pay off
Your household income is at or below the federal poverty line
An unexpected $250 medical bill would create serious financial risk
